Target: Sinter is an epithermal target represented by an unusually large area of sinter and upper level silicification. Drill targets are being developed based on the presence of hydrothermal breccias beneath the silica cap with anomalous gold and trace element chemistry.
Location: The Sinter project consists of 8 unpatented claims owned by AuEx and 1280 acres of optioned fee land located about 13 miles northwest of Lovelock in Pershing County, Nevada.
Ownership: 100% Ownership AuEx Ventures.
History: One drill hole completed by earlier explorers is reported to have encountered strongly anomalous gold values.
Geology: The property contains numerous showings of near surface hot spring style alteration and mineralization with local gold values to 500 ppb along with strongly anomalous pathfinder elements. The host rocks consist predominately of tertiary volcanics overlying Mesozoic meta-sediments. The structural zones responsible for the hot spring alteration and mineralization do not appear to have been identified.
