| | |   AuEx: The Beginning AuEx was formed in early 2003 to capitalize on the in-depth experience, technical capability and historical successes of the local management team in Nevada (see management) and to seize regional opportunities presented by low cost exploration, advanced industry infrastructure, and declining regional mineral production. AuEx's President, Ronald L. Parratt, previously managed three significant discoveries in Nevada during his tenure with Santa Fe Pacific Gold and had seen what he considered to be a number of missed opportunities in the historically resource-rich mining state of Nevada. With more than 25 years experience in target selection and project generation, Richard Bedell, an industry recognized authority in international polymetallic exploration became AuEx's co-founder and Vice-President. Both men shared the belief that Nevada continues to be a strategic region for future mineral discovery and production. Looking At Nevada Through A New Lens The management of AuEx sees Nevada exploration in a unique way - through the lens of experience and proprietary data analysis/technology. Employing leading edge exploration techniques and technology for ore deposit vectoring, AuEx management can look deep into data sets that most geologists can't process - eliminating false anomalies and looking for variations in the data to indicate higher areas of prospectivity. The outcome of AuEx's unique data processing is strategic target selection. Proprietary remote sensing, spatial probability modeling, and multivariate statistical analysis provide techniques that are driven by and combined with field geology and alteration mineralogy. Together these data sets and methods become the lens for strategic target selection, property acquisition, and joint venture development. AuEx Today AuEx continues to conduct comprehensive investigations and field work that lead to new areas for exploration. The company began with a Nevada focus, which has broadened to include Argentina and Spain. Exploration will now move forward on an international platform led by a growing technical team of industry-recognized experts. Regular examinations of data sets that lead the company into ever increasing new target areas - opening doors for renewed exploration with increased prospectivity for discovery.
